house hire


FNH from the frontThe Flemington Neighbourhood House is for hire on week nights and weekends only when the house is not already in use.

Groups that require the house for more than one session are to be offered week nights (where possible) to allow weekends to be left for "one-off" occasions.

FNH at the backThe house is preferably for non-profit organisations and family groups. Business groups may be offered sapce at an incresed fee level at the discretion of the Management Committee.

With hiring for children's birthday parties, family gatherings etc, only the back part of the House is available, that is the kitchen area, double back room and toilets. For meetings, seminars etc, both the front and back double rooms can be hired.

FNH cooking facilitiesHireres are to have left the premises no later than 9pm on weeends. No bands or loud music which may disturb the neighbours are to be in use.

All house hirers are responsible for their own insurance.

Bookings
Bookings can be made over the phone or in person. Hirer must give information about the number of people, time of departure, etc.

Fees
There is a $20 key deposit payable on collection of the key which is refunded once the key is returned and if the House has been left in a satisfactory manner.

WEEK NIGHTS:
Non profit organisations: -$10 per meeting
Profit making classes: -$15 per session
Profit making organization - $10 per hour


PARTIES AND SOCIAL GATHERINGS
For groups of less than 25 people: $45
For groups of 25-50 people: $60
Full day hire for meetings, seminars etc: $10 per hour


Rules for hiring
The House must be left clean and tidy, floors must be swept and washed if necessary; carpeted areas to be vacuumed if necessary. Benches, stove and sink areas to be wiped clean. If House cutlery, crockery or utensils are used, they must be washed and put away.

If any tables, chairs, etc are moved, they musrt be put back in their original positions.

Lights, heating, ovens etc are to be turned off. Lights in the hallway are security lights and remain on at all times.

Rubbish is to be left in the big bin on the verandah at the front of the House, and bottles must be placed in the recycling container.

Side and front doors are to be locked, alarm to be engaged and key left in the letterbox at the front of the House.

Children are to be supervised at all times.

If hiring rules have not been followed, the group will not be able to rehire the House.
