Journey
to the Spanish Literary Circles is a web site created to document a study
trip conducted by Liz Suda, the manager of the Flemington Reading and
Writing Program, to investigate the operation of the Dialogic Literary
Circles in Spain and the Czech Republic.
This trip was the result of a scholarship
awarded by the TAFE Travelling Scholarship Scheme. The study trip is intended
to contribute new and innovative approaches to adult education at the
Flemington Reading and Writing Program and provide positive models and
instruction to others in dialogic methods. This web site is the first
stage of that process.
The site takes the form of a journey
and begins with an intro to the journey
then an interview conducted by tutor/website designer - Karen McKnight,
in FRWP’s multi-media class shortly before Liz’s departure.
Students and friends of the program have been able to keep in touch with
Liz’s travels through her email diary which is posted here in chronological
order. The photo essay provides a visual account of places and groups
visited, and it is annotated with commentary and reflections.
This site will be in a continuous
process of construction as new contributions are made and the findings
of the research are put into practice. We would therefore appreciate any
feedback, contributions or relevant links you may wish to offer.
